THE SACRED EARTH GUIDE

A history and guide to Earth Mysteries research.

(Capall Bann Publishing Ltd 2001)

The term 'Earth Mysteries' was coined in the 1970s as a generic name for the study of leys or landscape alignments, spiritual geometry and megalithic sacred sites. Some Earth Mysteries researchers believe that these sacred sites were considered special by the ancient people who built them because they were ‘power centres’ where the natural energy of the Earth was concentrated. In recent years the leys discovered by Alfred Watkins in the 1920s have been redefined as ‘spirit lines’, corpse paths’ and ‘ghost roads’ and information on these is included in the book. Overall it provides a magical mystery tour for the reader to follow as they take their own quest for the secrets of the mystical past that are still a living power in the land.
